Item Card: The Siegebreaker

This item is designed to allow the user to fight massive enemies and win. There will later  be a rule-set to explain what the weapon properties it has will do (flamberge and zweihander), but for now it has very powerful features, like being able to halve the damage of a single attack and providing a boost to saving throws and charisma.
The most powerful feature it has is certainly this: for every size modifier larger than you a target is, you gain an additional attack when taking a full attack action against the target. This makes a character more dangerous, the larger an enemy is. Both of these main features only apply if the wielder is of good alignment (sorry neutrals!).
This is a weapon that allows the user to become an inspirational heroic figure, planting themselves firmly between the mighty and the innocent.

Item Card: Shadow Dragon's Mail
4k File link:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WrEj2gmRkLYejmefAwphsO6-1fKkSo5e/view?usp=sharing
Brought to Rhun Eru by a Warlock known as Vance, the Silent Scholar, this armour constantly emanates an aura of shadow that obscures its form. It was crafted from the hide of a red shadow dragon and now bears some of the dragon's abilities. It carries an ability to resist Necrotic damage, even being able to absorb it and cause mental feedback effect to the one who caused the damage.
This armour or similar is often sought by those with need of stealth, as the shadows that sit on its surface make the wearer very hard to spot in darkness, providing a bonus to stealth checks.

Item Card: Void, the Assimilated

HD file link:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1C8BmhbclMTLNyEMh3v__gc2g1kh3qBN6/view?usp=sharing

This dagger is designed to be a permanent companion to a character, regardless of level. It has vampiric properties and can summon a portal to your own personal area of the Shadowfell. Perhaps a place to think, to store ill-gotten gains. Perhaps a place to commune with the Ruler of the Shadowfell, The Raven Queen. Her ghostly face can be seen in the gem within the pommel, drifting into view when not being viewed directly. It features a raven skull and can change form to suit the needs of the user. Certainly an unsettling weapon.
Below is a quick story to describe where this dagger came from:
This unique dagger was created in a conflux of many circumstances coming together to form something terrible. An evil of endless hunger, now perhaps ... tamed.
Magdalen Odanove was a general within the greatest military force Rhun had seen in many generations. The force swept outwards from the human region of Zulthan, Magdalen being at the forefront. This position was not without consequence. When Magdalen's father passed, he did not give inheritance. Magdalen's father happened to be ruler of Odanove, home of all gnomes in Rhun. Magdalen was passed over for rulership, a slight that was not forgiven.
Magdalen sought revenge in many ways, driven by a greed that grew, becoming a hunger, becoming insatiable. Magdalen had been denied his birthright. Now, he would not be denied what was his.
When a cosmic event brought this military force to an end, destroying its mightiest city and its king, the "Immortal" Sarnon Zulthan, Magdalen was killed in the blast... or so it seemed. The Raven Queen had other ideas.
She visited the spirit of Magdalen as he drifted between worlds. His dagger drifted with him, strapped to his belt. The Raven Queen proposed a deal: Magdalen would work for her, bringing back sights, memories, feelings. In exchange, she would allow him to live once more. Additionally, she offered to "finish" his dagger, being a blacksmith of sorts herself.
Naturally, Magdalen agreed. In a burst of other-worldly energy, Magdalen was sent back to the land of the living. His dagger sent back also. However, something came back with him, an entity became attached to his dagger. This entity embodied everything that Magdalen had grown to become. It was an entity of infinite greed. It had the power to change fate, manipulating its location in the world to separate from Magdalen, wandering and consuming. Changing hands many times throughout thousands of years. Magdalen hunted it endlessly, always seeming one step behind... until he found it.
He came across the dagger in the hands of an ex-assassin. An elf, one who ran when things got too hard. This dagger had taken the Elf's son before his eyes. When Magdalen finally found the dagger again, the entity revealed itself to be known as Void, The Insatiable. They struck a bargain. They would fight and the winner would absorb the other. Thus Void was tamed, becoming part of Magdalen.
Magdalen is now forever changed. The greed, the hunger that once consumed him had been made manifest. It had roamed and eaten. Now at last, it was subsumed, for better or worse. Magdalen had been alive for thousands of years by this point, his lifespan artificially altered by the Raven Queen. He had sired children, birthing a new race of Gnomes called the Lómingold, who now wandered their own paths. Now what remained was the future.
What is to become of Magdalen Odanove, uncrowned heir of the gnomish lands, now a master of his greed? Only The Raven Queen knows.

Item Card: Staff of the Instigator
HD file link:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1k2TU1WXeeEw4l-KV7CcgHP-vCmxVa1F5/view?usp=sharing

This staff was wielded by one of the two "Brothers of Folly". These brothers were minstrels who travelled the land of Rhun Eru, performing satirical plays for all sorts of people, commoners and nobles alike. Before the brothers disappeared, a legend began to form around them, as every noble who saw their performances died in mysterious circumstances not long afterwards. Whether the brothers were somehow responsible for these deaths is not known, but certainly this staff gives off a feeling of an almost jolly disdain.
The ends appear to be designed to hold two matching gems, but only one gem remains. Since the power of this staff is already frightening in its power to manipulate large groups of people, the full potential of this completed staff may well have been enough to cause delayed or remote manipulation of important figures.
The gem itself appears to be made of organic material upon close inspection, the internal structure containing formations that look like red blood cells. However, the gem is fully solid. Perhaps it is made of a form of crystallized blood. This begs the question: what manner of being produces blood that can cause such debilitating effects?
Legend speaks of a battle between two deceiver gods; Cyric and Leira. Scholars believe that this crystal is a drop of blood shed in the conflict, earning it the nickname: Blood of Deceivers.

Item Card: Marsupin's Orbs of Planar Negation
HD file link:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ES8gP70QZDjosbI_gDf0l7baQbGMIqhB/view?usp=sharing

The wizard Marsupin specialises in creating crazy things by convincing plants and animals to achieve her wants and needs. She is a very old Gnome with a magical tower that is vibrant with plant and animal life.
Adora, a human female cleric of Leira, featured as a one-shot character in multiple games and is played my friend Rebecca. Adora had been cursed in a way, 'falling through worlds' for years, appearing in different settings and never knowing where she had come from or why she was there.
When Adora found herself in Rhun Eru (My campaign setting), Marsupin made these orbs in order to prevent Adora from being whisked off to another world, giving her some breathing room from her plight.
