Hutchison Effect: 19 lb bushing levitates with linearly increasing acceleration – "Hyperforce” https://peakd.com/hive-128780/@mes/hutchison-effect-19-lb-bush-939 & https://youtu.be/7v_AYRCw5nU

In this video, I go over the famous 19-lb bushing Hutchison Effect levitation footage, which, when analyzed frame-by-frame, demonstrates a unique linearly increasing acceleration. This analysis was first done by George Hathaway in his book Mindbending, which Thomas Valone later coined the phrase "hyperforce" to describe it. Compare this with the force of gravity, which is constant. Note that Hathaway's results were obtained by taking derivatives of the position trendline, which was modelled as a cubic function. I compare these derivatives with direct measurements from the position data and obtain similar results. Note also that the 3rd derivative of position, or 1st derivative of acceleration, is termed jerk or jolt.

Review of Vector Functions Chapter – Concept Check & True-False Quiz https://3speak.tv/watch?v=mes/review-of-vector-functions-138 & https://youtu.be/qQkC5yM7syM
In this video, I go over the concept check questions and true-false quiz as part of the review on the vector functions chapter from my calculus book. There are 9 concept check questions and 14 quiz questions, so try them out before I go over the solutions. I also use this as an opportunity to link back to my earlier videos on vector functions, as well as the very detailed thumbnails I made throughout these videos. If you do try the questions on your own, let me know how well you did!

Motion in Space: Velocity and Acceleration https://3speak.tv/watch?v=mes/e443f9d3 & https://youtu.be/c9wE-BMvaY4

In this video, I go over further into vector functions, and this time look at motion in space in terms of the velocity, acceleration, and position of objects moving in 2D or 3D space. Using the fact that the rate of change of the position of an object is the velocity, and likewise that the rate of change of velocity is the acceleration, I show we can write the velocity and acceleration of an object just in terms of the derivatives of the position vector. Likewise, going backwards via vector integrals, we can obtain the velocity from the acceleration vector, and the position from the velocity vector.

Spherical Harmonics: Atomic Orbitals, Laplacian in Polar and Spherical Coordinates, Laplace Equation https://3speak.tv/watch?v=mes/220d6572 and https://youtu.be/p5SdobFPiKY
In this video, I go over a deep dive into the famous spherical harmonics, which are the solutions to Laplace’s equation in spherical coordinates and are very prevalent in physics, especially in the quantized configurations of atomic orbitals or the electron charge distribution around the atom's nucleus.

Definition of Derivative for Vector Functions https://youtu.be/LAXaiYA5p1k
In this video I go over the definition of derivative for a vector function, which is very similar to the definition for real valued functions. The derivative of a vector function is defined as the limit as h approaches zero of the secant vector (difference of two vectors separated by incrementing the parameter t by h) divided h. As h approaches zero the secant vector approaches a vector that is parallel to the tangent vector to the curve.
