I know, I know, hahaha. I never know what to do with my content. I keep adding and removing posts here without, seemingly, any rhyme or reason. I promise you there's both, but it just sounds like a mess if I say it all out loud. 

There are so many things that I want to talk about and show you all, but I really have to keep my priorities straight. It's hard to believe that it's been almost a year, if not just over a year since "Feathertouch Impact" came out. I meant to put out a sequel in May 2023, but just... so many things got in the way. And you know me and motivation; that played its own part in things as well.

I'm getting a draft underway with the sequel "Rigorous Melody." The cover's been made for a year, and the outline has been long hammered out. "Sanguineous Salvation" was supposed to be finished and out first, but I'm trying to be more intentional with getting across important information across. That's the thing with turning a fun short into something a bit more serious. I do love the challenge though.

Things are finally turning in my favour to work on more intentional projects, so I'm going to work hard on this just like I did the first one. Best thing is FI taught me a lot about desktop publishing and really rekindled that love once more. Now if it could get me to like my own writing more, this process would fly by. 

But I guess I had to be nerfed somehow. I just can't be all powerful.

So, once I get a chapter drafted out, you'll be getting an upload here. Again, that means a reformatting of things as well, unfortunately. So, whatever content you see now, please enjoy it because it might not last!

Also, I came up with a fun idea for another short (I know), but I'm going to work out the details a bit more. Hopefully, I'll have something for you all to read in between RM updates, but we'll see.

I'm so awful about updating SubscribeStar in particular. I used to have the "exclusive blog/paid platform" thing downpat, but overtime, I just became so damn bad at the whole thing. I'll be the first to admit. I did finish one of the WIPs I showed previously (a while ago, at this point; I didn't realise it had been that long), and I made up my mind about the other story I spoke about previously.

I do not like that second story! My idea was going to be to clean it up and throw it on itch.io—but again, I don't like it. Instead, I will share it with you all. I'm debating on how I'm going to do that. I don't want to slap it on WordPress (augh) as one massive post, and I'm not in the mood to share my Drive...

I think I'll break down each chapter into appropriate segments and share it with you that way. That means this story is going to be undoubtedly rougher than previous works. But you'll be getting the essence of the story. It's still mostly done; it's just not in that close to polished state that I'd like.

Regardless! But on the look out for more posts coming your way soon. I'm so sorry I'm forgetful! (Part of that I can excuse on moving, but still.)

Around the end of the year in 2023, I ended up going through a whirlwind of changes, so it's been really difficult for me to get my head on straight lately. I moved across the country, and I've been trying to get my motivation back to work on creative things among the changes.

I've been making pretty good updates, though, on itch.io, and I'm going to update you here as well:

I wanted to put out another short in the meanwhile to keep us both preoccupied, but I was afraid of running into the same problem with SS where I chuck out an idea, but actually end up really getting into it. Creatively speaking, I've been out of patience with myself for years, so I'm trying to force myself to slow down and focus on something. Even though I'm in a place where I need to get certain things done, I just have to put the blinders on and focus on getting them done my way at my pace. 

Lessons that shouldn't have to be learned, but y'know.

Right now, my two biggest projects are FI's sequel and SS' revival. I'm not going to say when I'm getting these done considering how low my motivation gets when I start to expect things out of myself. Just know that they will be done, and I'll try to talk more about the process as well. (Aah, but that's so embarrassing—!)

Oh well, we'll figure it out.
