JIVE TALK with a Danish shaman

I went to Cornwall to meet Chris Luttichau who is a shaman who runs the Northern Drums Shamanic Training School and leads wilderness trips in northern Finland. Chris is Danish by birth but he trained with indigenous elders in North America, and now trains others in shamanic techniques. I visited him to learn more about shamanism which is now the fastest growing “religion” in the UK.

Runes and Magic with Dr Scott Shell

The latest Jive Talk was with Scott Shell - he received his Ph.D. in Germanic Linguistics from the University of California at Berkeley. The emphasis of his study has been on historical linguistics, runology and mythology. He runs a YouTube channel called @Scott T. Shell (Continental Germanic Heathenry) which focuses on the pagan religion of the Old Saxons. Tonight he will discuss some of his findings in regards to the magical uses of runes by Germanic pagans on the continent and Scandinavia.

The Rise and Fall of Archaeology with Stone Age Herbalist

7pm GMT, 2pm EDT, 11 am PDT

Tonight on Jive Talk I speak to Stone age Herbalist, a dissident archaeologist, twitter personality and substack blogger. In this Jive Talk he describes the ancient origins of archaeology as a discipline, how it rose to a more rigorous practice in the modern era and then degenerated into modern woke archaeology. We discuss gay cavemen, transgender vikings, the migrations and invasions of Anglo-Saxons, Beaker folk, Yamnaya, Aryans and others and finally end with a chat about anthropology in general.

See you all there!

TONIGHT: The Transhumanist question

Borja and I will discuss the important theological and philosophical questions which arise for pagans confronted by a transhumanist power structure. Is transhumanism the re-emergence of gnosticism? For we who consider the world, nature and the blood to be divine is it acceptable to meddle with DNA or seek salvation through technology? These issues will be discussed in more detail at the Pagan Futures conference in London next month, but tonight we will introduce the topics.

the livestream starts in one hour!

JIVE TALK: Michael Michailidis of AGR

How do the religious and philosophical beliefs of Ancient Greeks have enduring relevance for us in the modern world of technology and globalisation? What lessons; spiritual or practical, can be discerned from the ancient texts that survive to this day? From the epics of Homer, the cults of Dionysus and Eleusis, the inspired wisdom of Plato or the practical philosophy of the Stoics, Michailidis has explored all these and more on his channel

JIVE TALK: Acharya returns

Last night's live stream is up on Odysee as well as YouTube. Five years ago I spoke to Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya, I am going to speak to him again on JIVE TALK. Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya is one of the most renowned teachers of the ancient tradition known as Dharma (popularly conflated with "Hinduism"). Acharya, the author of the Dharma Manifesto, teaches authentic Vedic philosophy in a manner that is practical in today's world. We discuss transhumanism and war among other subjects.
