Nergal among all the gods
Among the stars of heaven the Fox Star glittered
Shining bright as the sun at noon;
its radiance glared for him.
Evil spirits will rise and sweep over the land
Bright day will turn to darkness, the whirlwind will rise and the stars of heaven will be hidden.
Evil winds will come and the eyesight of living creatures will be darkened,
Demons will raise up and seize the living creatures,
They will attack mercilessly the unarmed one who confronts them!
The star of Nergal is shining bright and its radiant light foretells of warfare.
His awe-inspiring brilliance will flash as wild demons march over them, and all the people will perish.
