Our “Lost Silver Ledge” story, search, and upcoming trips and videos have been on my mind for some years now. Years ago, I was out there, way out there, hiking away from our vehicle and searching for a small meteorite impact crater and any meteor bits with my dad for a search he had been on for years on and off. My dad alone, my dad and my Uncle, and my dad and me had already been out on many trips to this area and other areas looking for evidence of the meteorite’s impact and possible path as it collided with the earth. Cloudy Desert Day Trip Dry Washing for GOLD!  Natural Placer GOLD!
Another day trip digging for dry washing concentrates for our Patreon Patrons who get monthly shipments! Dry washing for placer gold can be tricky in several ways but the biggest challenge is the weather like most outdoors work. The ground needs to be bone dry for it to work best which means that during the cooler months when the conditions are better for camping and enjoying the desert and there can be rains and it cannot be done or not as well. This leaves the hot Summers and I either go late in the day and work into the night sometimes stay the night and get more work in before about midday or go out early morning and work for a half day or a bit longer. Two trips made recently and filming was done for both. These areas are both way out in the desert and we have named them Magic Canyon and Rusty Gold (RG) and we consider them both "Volcanic Desert". One is more remote in that very few travelers actually get out there so I could be out there a month and never see anyone while the other is close to a fairly busy (in desert terms) dirt road that at least has a couple jeeps or trucks a day and sometimes more. A new video is coming from the second area. We are sincerely thankful to our supporters because without you these trips would not have been possible. Thank you again.

Hey friends, a lot has been happening and most of it’s good personally and I hope you’re doing at least alright, or even better, great!
