So good news, everybody. The poetry talks should be back online shortly. Our schedule may still be a little spotty, but at the moment, we're currently planning on a talk this Sunday with author Ben Zwycky (pronounced Zvit-ski) on Rudyard Kipling's poem "The City of Brass". Sometime in the next week or so, we should also have a talk including Jeffro Johnson (author of Appendix N about the s.f./fantasy background to classic D & D.) concerning H.P. Lovecraft's "The Ancient Track".
I just recorded my new appeal video last night. I need to edit it a bit, but it should go up Monday. Hopefully, it will persuade more people to subscribe to the channel. If not that, however, at least I think it should make a few people laugh, which isn't a bad thing in and of itself.
Let me know what you think when you see it, and feel free to spread it around yourselves.
So I'm recovered a bit from the cold which put me down last week and delayed this week's video. I've also, due to things I've recently learned about, changed the topic for this week's video. I'll be recording it tomorrow night, probably.
I'll also be recording the subscribers' monthly news roundup "Cold Takes" fairly soon. I don't know what I'll talk about, though. It doesn't seem like much interesting happened this month.
If you have any questions for me to address in the Cold Takes Q&A, post them here, please.
This Friday I plan on live-streaming our discussion with Rachel Fulton Brown at 9:30 Eastern Time. If you’re interested in joining us, the link is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvmT9n3MTQ8
Of course, if you can’t make that time, the video will remain up afterwards. See you then, and I look forward to your comments.
Just a meme I made for my own amusement. No particular political implications.
