For several years I have watched as people claiming to be into the science, following the science and actual scientists conflate short term spikes with smoothed lines not yet set on graphs.

They have been doing this with temperatures, as reported here with The Guardian and the Washington Post as well as sunspots and solar cycle graphs.

To anyone even a little intelligent this will appear as an attempt to mislead them that might just look a little desperate? Oh they are desperate and are for a reason.

Luckily there has been one worldwide distraction after another for the few years that this worldwide and claimed problem has been failing miserably.
