The Ibanez is finished, check it out.
There are some good tips here when thinking about the set up of your own guitar.
The percentage of students that have a terrible set-up on their guitar when they start lessons with me is probably about 50%. After we correct that problem then they have no excuses except themselves.
There is one thing that I wish I could do for each of you and that is to play your guitar to see if you need a set up. This is one of the disadvantages of connecting online. We don't get to interact on that personal level.

Working on the Ibanez some more.
The continuing story of the Ibanez RG 321 MH
What you will see here is a used guitar. It was purchased in 2004 by the guy I bought it from just the other day. ( I was worried that he would find out who I was and would want to keep it and take lessons. ;) My son found this guitar online but is working 250 miles from here and wanted me to go see it for him and possibly buy it. Well, I did, and then I did.
Last night I got the guitar completely setup so that it is a sweet ride now. It plays like butter and sounds great.
I'll make the last video about this guitar today in between spraying apple trees this morning, holding the Zoom meeting for you all at 10 a.m. MDT (I'll use that guitar today), lunch, and mowing the grass right after that. (That takes one and a half hours on our riding lawnmower.)
- Pacific time Zoom meeting time: 9 a.m.
- Central time: 11 a.m.
- Eastern time: 12 a.m.
- Berlin, Germany: 6 p.m.
- Come for 5 minutes or for the whole meeting!
The last video about the Ibanez will be available on Monday and then I'll compile all the videos together into the story of this guitar.
