ID Software was aware the Quake games were popular in the multiplayer area. At the same time, the arena shooter would see its beginning. As a result, Quake 3 takes us to the ARENA!

Quake 1 was a huge success. ID Software wanted to make a sequel. Something seems to be different. It would be a huge evolution but the story seemed different in many ways.

A retro style FPS mostly inspired by titles like Heretic but takes on a progress structure familiar with Quake 1. The game would run surprisingly well with RTX enabled and still run past 60 FPS on a RTX 3070.
