Description:
The Miracle of GOATUNHEIM is a Divine Legend of the Ancient World. So goes the story that in times of War or simply impiety or an entire community’s great offense to a Divine being with a strong Religious Order, Religion, Mystery, or Sect of Worship if they perceive as being slighted in any way the Divine and the Gods as the legends go took revenge upon the Towns by making the Inhabitants nothing more than Goats.
Curiously the Divine Punishment of Goatunheim affects no other Domesticated Animals. Every Human or man, woman, and child, will be cursed by the light of the God’s wrath and Divine Magic to become a mere goat right alongside whatever other domesticated herd animal there might be.
Legends additionally come from this Curse and Divine Punishment being used upon a Port Town or Port City that had defied the festivals of a God and rebuffed his celebrations and Days of Worship for the Elevation of a ‘God King’ with a Cult of Personality styling himself as a ‘DemiGod’
When the Curse struck the City as divine punishment for the rulers arrogance and the Gods not being rendered their offerings they demand on their days of tribute the City as a whole suffered a White light flashing across its limits and some of its oceans.
Subsequently all men women and children began to bleat and chaos reigned in the streets as they all became goats in seconds
The only reason this is known about was because of the Sailors and Merchant vessels of the city’s trade witnessing the light of Goatunheim.
In response to it the Sailors did two things. The Boats coming into port when they stepped foot on the land joined the Goats on four legs.
The sailors and merchants who were leaving the city and who had turned around on ill omen and advice from seers and advisors attuned to the mystic arts to ‘make flight from the city or else be doomed’ when they docked somewhere far away from the Port town they never became goats because they had turned their back on the impious and the punished and were forgiven by the Gods.
Only after 5 Days did men at arms descend upon the town to assess what had happened to this city suddenly populated by a massive herd of Goats. But by that point the curse had ‘lifted’ so no new person would be punished for entering the impious city. But the population of the city would never be human again. Thus would be a warning for what would befall the impious if they had no faith or regard for the Divine.
