University Year 3 Shot Animatic 2008

After coming up with an idea for my final shot it was then time to create and animatic (Storyboard with timings) to help see how long the shot would be. At the end I have also included a clay marquette that one of my friends made of my monkey character.
Of course the shot idea was way to long and had to be cut down for the final, but this was the idea I worked from.

Gesture Sketching September 2018

Along side doing my 3d pose a day practise I also did 15 minutes of gesture drawing a day before I did the 3d pose. I did 10 minutes of 30 second gesture drawings then 5 minutes on a sketch.

University Year 3 Shot Proposal 2008

In my third year at uni we all had to come up with an idea for a final movie and pitch it to the rest of the class and tutors. After having some time to think of a concept and do some early pre vis for it we then presented it to the rest of the class.
Here is my presentation and early concept art for my final short.
The premise was a monkey who wanted to crack open a nut to eat, and try and break into it in various acme style ways.
Lovingly called 'Nut job'.

University Year 2 Shot 2 2007

In the second year of university we got the assignment to work with several others and come up with a small skit. There was 3 people in my group including me and the small skit is based around the idea of a tv remote control zapping the characters and making them act in goofy ways.
I animated the purple character.
