Welcome to Velvet Signal Studio, and thank you for being here.
We are an indie visual novel studio creating mature, character-driven stories about romance, trust, distance, secrecy, and the choices people make when emotions get complicated.
Our first game is A Place Between Us, an adult-only slow-burn visual novel about a young woman beginning a new life in Florida, a long-distance engagement under pressure, and the emotional tension that grows when an emergency housing situation places her under the same roof as her fiance's best friend.
The current version is still early. Right now, A Place Between Us is a vertical slice with phone-perspective scenes, in-person apartment moments, private reflections, relationship stats, placeholder art, and early UI systems. It is not a polished full chapter yet, but the foundation is in place.
This Page will be used for development updates, previews, polls, behind-the-scenes notes, early builds, and honest progress reports as the game grows.
All featured characters are adults. Public previews will stay non-graphic and focused on story, atmosphere, character tension, and development progress.
