My guest for this episode is a professional visual artist based in Seattle, WA. She is highly accomplished, having won many awards, and regularly has her work shown in galleries and exhibitions all over the country, and internationally as well.
And as you can imagine, discovering Argentine Tango opened up many other creative opportunities for her. So how exactly does tango affect a visual artist? Let's find out!
This week I had a fun conversation about teaching styles, the many facets of learning tango, and how culture influences our perspectives.
My guest today is originally from Córdoba, Argentina, but is currently based in Paris, France. In addition to tango, he's also well versed in Argentinean Folk dancing.
While growing up, he trained in various dance schools in Buenos Aires and Córdoba. He has also been a part of several dance companies, and has taught and performed internationally.
A lot of you out there are pursuing goals. They might not be earth-shattering or grandiose...but they are personal and very close to your heart. And I'm betting that many of you are struggling with these goals, and may be at a crossroads where you're thinking of giving them up.

My guest today is a mechanical engineer with advanced degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and MIT. But since her childhood, she has had a passion for music. And instead of giving up her passion, she always found a way to make room for it despite all the demands of school, work, and life.
As luck would have it, her interest in music brought her to tango, and eventually she became a bandoneon player and singer! How amazing is that?
