There Are Literal Coups Against Presidents Of Peru &

Ecuador, As Well As Against Trump

President Vizcarra of Peru has been removed.  President Lenin Moreno of Ecuador has fled the capital Quito with his government amongst violent riots.  Government facilities have been overrun and vandalized; 47 soldiers and five police were captured and held by rioters.  The US-bound migrant caravans have been stopped cold by migration agreements in Central America.  Now the migrant invasion is evolving into another phase--the outright overthrow of conservative presidents--including Donald J. Trump!

President Vizcarra opened Pandora’s Box at the United Nations in New York Last Year.  He denounced the Maduro regime as illegitimate and invoked the “InterAmerican Letter Of 2001”.  This powerful document was unanimously signed by the member nations of the Organization of American States (OAS), pledging mutual support, oversight, and intervention in case of a “rupture of democracy” in any member nation (such rupture being a threat to the stability of the region and security of the Hemisphere).  This act defying communism and globalism has now cost him the presidency of beautiful Peru, a state long besieged by communist elements including the Chinese-backed Shining Path narco-insurrection.  He was elected vice president to  Pedro Pablo Kuczynski.  I believe this ticket was intentionally balanced, with Vizcarra drawing votes from conservative constituents.  Kuczynski was implicated in the Odebrecht scandal.  With impeachment likely, he pardoned conservative ex-president Alberto Fujimori and released him from prison (Fujimori was imprisoned for supposed “war crimes” in his military suppression of the Shining Path).  Kuczynski was impeached and Peru swung to the right under Vizcarra, who set about immediately draining the swamp.  Communist elements fought Vizcarra incessantly, forcing him to return abruptly from a Brazil summit on December 31 to personally head the prosecution of corrupt politicians (leftist elements took advantage of his brief absence to fire his head prosecutor).  The last seven days have been a dizzying melee: President Vizcarra moved to dissolve the congress and force new elections, congress responded with a vote to remove him for “temporary incapacity”.  Vice President Mercedes Araoz resigned, eliminating any possibility of her succession to the presidency, as did Pedro Olaechea, the president of the dissolved congress (who would have been next in the order of succession).  Vizcarra has the support of the military and national police, and yesterday addressed a council of mayors (very powerful officials in the Latin structure), telling them he depends upon their support in the coming struggle.

Four million refugees (at least!) have flooded neighboring nations as a result of the Venezuela crisis, and a great number of these are in Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.  Some are just trying to pick up the pieces of their lives after this catastrophic experiment in socialism.  Others are propagandized, weaponized agitators intent on spreading socialist cancer to their neighbor states--and then to the world.  Perhaps one million or more of these have reinforced leftist subversive movements in Peru, including the Shining Path, and lending the appearance of broad based, grassroots support to the insurrection against President Vizcarra.

I have long considered Ecuador the yellowest of banana republics, run by the CIA and American deep state, and a case study in communism.  The president’s given name is “Lenin”.  Their currency is the US Dollar.  Communist President Correa was in office when Julian Assange took asylum in the Ecuadorian embassy (an event that baffles me even today).  Lenin Moreno was Correa’s vice president and understudy and received his blessing to pursue the presidency.  Moreno was always a little more conservative than his mentor, but after taking the presidency he broke from his socialist moorings, even meeting with Venezuelan interim president Juan Guaido!  Correa was as thick as thieves with Hugo Chavez himself, and fully supports his successor Maduro as guidon bearer for socialist South America.  Correa is also (as the US deep state) under investigation for high crimes including the kidnapping of a political opponent (Fernando Balda) in 2012.  Correa’s only opportunity to escape prosecution is the military coup now underway.  In Ecuador also, there is an appearance of populism, with indigenous activists taking the lead in the protests.  This illusion is bolstered by another million-or-so Venezuelan agitators filling the back ranks; the eastern provinces of Ecuador having been under a state of “exception” or “emergency” since last year due to the refugee situation.  These jungle areas are the home of many indigenous peoples, and, (coincidentally?) many criminal narco-communist cells.

Make no mistake, the world is at war, and that war is now in the Americas.  The Venezuelan intervention authorized by the OAS and Rio Treaty members will necessarily strengthen the embattled, allied, conservative governments in Ecuador and Peru…
…or we could watch and wait for the dominoes to fall, then fight a dozen united communist states with Red China as backer and puppeteer!

Midnight update:
Trump authorized the Venezuelan Guaidó government another 98 million though the newly-revamped USAID (which no longer supports globalist agitation, but actual humanitarian aid and reconstruction), in addition to 470 million in aid already committed.
