Civil War Fueled By Arrests & Trials Of Latin American Oligarchs

Martial law was declared in northeast Guatemala after three soldiers were killed in an ambush on September 3rd.  On September 2nd, a pivotal event occurred that infuriated the communist elements of the region-their champion, Sandra Torres, was arrested!  Torres was the leftist candidate for the Guatemalan presidency and wife of former President Alvaro Colom (whom she divorced in order to run for president herself).  Torres recently made world news when she hosted a US congressional delegation led by Nancy Pelosi (plus AOC, Rashida Tlaib, and others) to support her bid for the presidency.  Her crimes being well known, she was shielded from prosecution by her candidacy in pursuit of the presidency.  Pelosi's diplomacy notwithstanding, she lost the election and has subsequently been arrested for campaign finance violation.  3.6 million dollars in her 2015 campaign fund were of dubious origin, and Torres will face this charge without her former immunity.  She will remain in custody, is considered a flight risk, and has already surrendered her passport.

Today Hal Turner reported that Iraq opened the border with Syria and descended into chaos  in one day!  After the arrest of Torres, Guatemala's Hillary Clinton, a portion of Guatemala descended into chaos in one day.  President Morales has asked his congress to authorize a widening of the martial law order to extend thirty more days and include two additional municipalities.  As of this hour, the Torres dynasty's socialist UNE party website (une.com.gt) is down.

Presidents in Latin America often have constitutional limited terms to prevent the insidious growth of a ruling class, yet the term-limited ex presidents and their families have become exactly that.  They are the new royalty and often wield great power, undermining democratic and electoral processes.  This oligarchy often has links to criminal enterprise, and both are being brought down as Latin America comes into alliance with the United States and our historic values.

Former first lady de Saca of neighboring El Salvador is facing 15 years in prison for helping her part in laundering 17 million dollars in embezzled funds.  Her husband, former President Tony Saca was convicted and served ten years for embezzling 300 million, then sentenced to two more years for bribery.  Now the family is being dismantled of their dynastic power by the trial of Ana Ligia Mixco de Saca.  This pair was from the supposedly conservative PCN party.  It appears that El Salvador's left-right paradigm has been just as artificial as ours.  Perhaps President Bukele will turn over a new leaf and usher in a new golden age...today the US State Department lowered the travel warning from level 3 to 2.  US citizens are no longer discouraged from visiting El Salvador.  Being considered as safe for Americans as much of Europe should boost tourism to their famed Pacific beaches.

Finally, infamous sea-hag and Hillary-clone Cristina Fernandez is facing justice in Argentina even as she runs for vice president on the Fernandez-Fernandez ticket.  Only 25 days remain until the October 27th general election.  Cristina, former first lady cum "madame president" enjoys immunity as a sitting senator; a request has been sent to strip that immunity by a 2/3 vote in the senate.  The fate of Argentina depends on her conviction in an Argentine or US court.  The peso tumbled and world markets shuddered when she, as a free woman, did well in the primaries.  Cristina Fernandez, like corrupt royals before her, has proven adept at slipping out of legal jeopardy.  This time, Judge Claudio Bonadio assures the buck will stop.  The case, he says, cannot be appealed to any higher court.  The same assurance was no doubt given to Adolf Eichmann...
