That quote was so deep it inspired a post. I do see this all the time. People focus on an afterlife or even outer-worldly ideals so much they forget that they are here in the physical and still have to interface with reality.
The inverse is also true. I've seen agendas at play, consumerism ramp up and marketing is everywhere targeting humans as products. We need to put limitations on that as well before you get sucked into materialism and covet it over all else.
You don’t have to like everything about this world. I definitely don’t, but it’s the one we’ve been given. We have to find a balance of both. Don’t float off and don’t bury yourself. Live in the middle.
