Samurai Jack
Samurai Jack is a long-time favourite "cartoon" on mine. I put the word cartoon in quotation marks because I still maintain that it's so much more than just a cool animated series. I've recently been reading psychology literature and the concept of "the shadow" I've become increasingly interested in. Samurai Jack, I feel explores this subject in subtle ways and this is something my younger self had no chance of picking up let alone understanding at the time, and this gives the series a lens one can watch it through.
Early concept/blocking-out. I know it somewhat looks better than the final result 🤣

MECH/FY was also used in this one to achieve a "Dragonglass"-like effect. A major downside to the is the severe memory usage which limits the amount of detail that can be introduced> This project, however, also marked the start when I started getting a better handle of the tool and this can be seen in the jingasa (the hat) which is more refined compared to the other parts - it's unfortunate that this was the last item completed in the project.
Definitely looking to revisit this one down the line and complete the full vision after doing a better deepdive of the topics involved in the series. That said, I'm glad with how it turned out and I at least got to further test the limits of the addon in my machine.
