hovering, dashing, pivoting - 
flamelike body suspended between two pairs of glistening, membraneous wings. 
A wonder of ancient natural history. 

Do you wonder, O dragonfly? 
Have you sufficient being to appreciate such freedom, such poise?
Are you just a link in another food chain,
Or an arc of the circle of life?
