And by shine I mean put his foot down since he's tired of getting any kind of bad backlash by his friends seeing how they just won't say anything to his face---that he's "too young" they had said in the past, at least Andy has said to Stanley, that he just isn't ready to hear it---

but it turns out, he's already known of what has happened---he has snuck away from the cave many of times just to hear them talk since they won't say it to his face---and he's getting pretty damn tired of it---
