Maazetec the Blood Empire of Vaztii. The largest known power from the deadly southern continent of Avagaria. Outwardly hostile to all foreign powers, the blood empire is known for its river cities, entire villages living on the constant movement as the lands of Vaztii are crawling with Alpha predators making mankind nothing more than common feed. The harsh environment means stable farming and cities take hundreds of years to cleanse the land in great wars waged with horrors from the Jungles of Vaztii. The Maazetec people are a proud warrior people who have survived through blood and sacrifice. Their gods may be cruel, but they are merely reflecting the harsh lands of Vaztii. While their resources are lacking in stable iron production you'll find their magic to be extremely potent. The Maazetec are said to have existed alongside the fallen empire of the Luminar of Estosi. Some even say that they were the ones who brought about the destruction of Luminar sinking the ancient giant lands of Luminar in a great war. They have repulsed both the Astrian Empire and Crimson Dominion centuries ago when they first tried to colonize the shores of Vaztii. However, since then, the technological disparity has grown slightly and the Successor state of Novaria and the Sophian Mercantile Republic has begun a renewed effort to tame the savage lands. Though little is known of the Druids of Nekoya or of the Totemists of Nelotec and their relations towards Maazetec. To the south of Vaztii exists thee, Animists of Vaztii, hundreds of river tribes, however, the further south into Vaztii is unknown as the things that dwell on the continent have prevented further expansion and or exploration. 

The warriors of Maazetec are brave and strong as the land has made them into men with Iron hearts, despite their lacking materials. Proud as they are fearsome!
