Hello, dungeoneers! Pug here, back with another Fur Quests Update.
Well, we finally did it! After a lot of trial and error, we managed to get the character sprites to fade in and out in a nice, seamless way, rather than blink out of existence. It may have taken a while, but practice makes perfect, and that's what this build of the game is all about. We have plenty more experiments lined up for the future.
Today, we added a few scenes of Hazan's reaction to your exploits. The purpose of these, just like the camp banter, is to help flesh out the world and give you some feedback on your actions without the classic telltale approach of writing "This action will have consequences" at the top of the screen.
We also intended to play around with skill checks for this update, but sadly, we did not have time for that. I've been digging deep into studying programming and 3D animation lately, and it has left me too mentally exhausted to do much of anything this week. But as soon as I've had a day or two to rest and recover, I'll start prepping for a special backers' update for this Sunday.
Every dime we make goes directly into funding additional tools and assets to ensure that Fur Quests is the best game it can be. So if you like what you see, please consider supporting us over at Patreonand Subscribestar.
We have a lot of exciting stuff planned for the future of Fur Quests, and none of it would be possible without our loyal backers' love and support.
So from the bottom of my heart, I just want to say, thank you.
