Nashville Numbering System, video 2
Hello everyone,
Hello everyone,
Here is video 2 in this series that I'm working on. This subject can be described in very simple terms but there is a rabbit hole that you can go down that is much deeper. I'm always wondering how to approach subjects like this? What should we talk about?
In this video I talk a little about the Major Scale Sheet which is based on the Circle of 5ths (which is in my book), and then figure out the chords to a song right before your eyes. We then get to see the chords and the numbers that they correspond to in the scale they were written in, which is Ab major.
Then... we transpose the song up to B Major, then down to F Major, and then wind up in G major at the end.
Currently I'm editing video 3 in this series which will show you clearly the patterns of this numbering system.
