Prohibited Content


It is not allowed to use the SubscribeStar if you are, as a User - directly or indirectly - involved in any illegal activity connected (in a form of presenting, offering, selling, promoting, advocating, hyping on, or profiteering from) with the following types of businesses:


ALCOHOL, DRUGS, TABACO

  1. Alcohol and alcohol brewing kits
  2. Educational material claiming that they can help cure disease
  3. Drug paraphernalia and tools specifically intended for the production of drugs
  4. HCG-based (human chorionic gonadotropin) weight loss products
  5. Illegal drugs (e.g., K2, Salvia Divinorum, nitrate inhalers, bath salts, synthetic cannabis, herbal smoking blends, herbal incense, and HCG/HGH-like substances).
  6. Medical marijuana.
  7. Products/services specifically offered or intended to be used to create drugs or grow ingredients for drugs (e.g., "grow shop" products, seeds for cannabis plants, etc.)
  8. Pseudo pharmaceuticals / Nutraceuticals and food products or other digestibles marketed via unsubstantiated and/or unlawful health or medical claims (e.g., food supplements, vitamins, weight-loss, anti-aging, muscle-building, sexual-stimulant supplements, colon cleansers, detox products, and the likes).
  9. Smoking substances such as tobacco, cigars, vapes, e-cigarette, rolling paper, and cigarettes.
  10. Steroids
  11. Substances designed to mimic illegal drugs, and/or other psychoactive products.

WEAPONS

  1. Trade of weapons, ammunition, military arms, explosive devices, and firearm parts
  2. Tutorials, instructions, or demonstrations for crafting or modifying weapons, such as 3D printed designs, manufacturing firearms, and other Do-It-Yourself (DIY) creations of this sort

DIGITAL, TECH, GAMING

  1. Third-party/aggregation.
  2. Cyberlockers
  3. Decryption and descrambler products, including modchips, spy devices, services, or software
  4. Espionage equipment and accessories
  5. Fantasy sports leagues where participants receive cash or cash-equivalents or prizes with/of material value. (e.g., electronics, travel, gift cards, etc.).
  6. Files sharing and storage.
  7. Games of skill where participants receive cash or cash equivalents or prizes with/of material value (e.g., electronics, travel, gift cards, etc.)
  8. Hacking and cracking materials
  9. In-game items
  10. Jailbreaker equipment, software, and services
  11. Jammers or devices that are designed to block, jam, or interfere with cellular and personal communication device/signals (e.g., GPS)
  12. Products designed to circumvent copyright protection techniques or to otherwise facilitate the unlicensed use of copyrighted materials (e.g. ‘mod-chips’ to break the encryption of game computers to enable the playing of unlicensed copies of games)
  13. Social media “click farms” (i.e., the sale of clicks/likes/reviews/endorsements on social media sites)
  14. Unauthorized copyright media and software Unlicensed IPTV

OBSCENITY, ABUSE, HARM

  1. Bestiality, rape, or incest
  2. Lewd, filthy, or disgusting words or pictures
  3. Synthetic media and deepfakes, whether created with or without the use of Artificial Intelligence (aka, “AI”).
  4. Animal cruelty or abuse in any shape or form - presenting, advocating, or promoting.
  5. Live child abuse imagery and child pornography
  6. Services, conversations, products that promote hate, violence, discrimination, terrorism, harassment, or abuse of any kind
  7. Self-harm or suicide

FINANCES, GAMBLING

  1. Betting and gambling, including sports forecasting or odds making
  2. Bitcoins, other cryptocurrencies, and tokens
  3. Charities
  4. Credit repair
  5. Deceptive marketing practices, including but not limited to hidden disclosure, bogus claims & endorsements, refund/cancellation avoidance, poorly disclosed negative options, and advice on negative response marketing techniques
  6. Extended warranties
  7. Get rich schemes
  8. Government loans
  9. Loan modification
  10. Multi-Level Marketing
  11. Payday lenders
  12. Payment protection insurance (PPI) claims
  13. Penny auctions
  14. Precious metals/materials
  15. Pyramid selling, Ponzi scheme, or another fraudulent financial scheme
  16. Unlicensed lottery, including but not limited to sweepstakes, raffles, mystery boxes, and other contests with offering a free gift, prize as an inducement to purchase their product or service

ADULT

  1. Fetish products
  2. Live adult video
  3. Mail order spouse and international match-making services
  4. Sexual enhancement supplements or products

SERVICES

  1. Bail bonds
  2. Bankruptcy lawyers
  3. Chain letters
  4. Collection agencies or firms involved in recovering/collecting past due receivables
  5. Essay mills/paper mills (i.e., ghostwriting, thesis writing services)
  6. Independent financial advisers (IFA)
  7. Medical consultation, e-doctors
  8. Prostitution
  9. Psychic or astrological readings/consultation
  10. Selling products/services or publishing information/materials as an agent for a third party
  11. Telemarketing companies
  12. Hypnosis and/or subliminal recordings or consultation
  13. Companion/escort services, prostitution services, massage parlors, or sexually-oriented dating services

MISCELLANEOUS

  1. Offering, discussing, or promoting counterfeit goods/replicas or infringing on intellectual property rights, including materials and discussions designed to infringe on such intellectual property (i.e., knock-offs, imitations, bootlegs)
  2. ESTA, Immigration/Visa passport
  3. Fake references, fake credentials, fake academic papers, and other services/products that foster deception (including fake IDs and government documents)
  4. Selling or promoting or advocating the illegal selling of human organs
  5. Stamps and coins
  6. Ticket brokers
  7. Timeshare and timeshare maintenance 
  8. Fake or manipulated content, including "deepfakes"

SPECIAL CASES

Content creators may only use the Platform concerning any of the following upon passing a special review and approval process, which approval SubscribeStar may withhold or revoke at its discretion where it finds this to pose a risk to the Company's business and/or reputation:

  1. Anything associated with pseudo-science (e.g., clairvoyance, horoscopes, fortune-telling, etc.)
  2. Anything associated with alternative news, commentary, citizen journalism, and similar activities
  3. Any product, discussion, advice, or service related to political or social campaigning
