I'm the author of the 8-Bit Chibi Akumas Games for the Amstrad CPC, MSX and ZX spectrum... and Grime Z80,6502 and 68000!... and I plan to bring the our many more new and exciting games in the future!
I'm also currently creating a series of Youtube Z80,6502 and 68000 programming videos, where I show you how to develop your own games for over 25 retro systems, with many useful examples and source code samples... These currently cover the CPC,MSX,Spectrum, Sam Coupe,Elan Enterprise, TI-83,Gameboy +GBC, Master sysytem, MSX, Camputers Lynx, C64,PC Engine,Nes & SNES, Atari Lynx,Apple II, BBC,Amiga,Atari ST, NeoGeo, Genesis and X68000!!!
Anyone who supports me for $1 or more on patreon will get access to my finished games, early access to the tutorials and other videos... and they will also get weekly updates on the development of games I'm working on with the latest screenshots, background info on the game design, concept and programming challenges.
In addition each week I'll be posting detailed technical documentation on how an element of the game is designed and coded around the limitations of 8 bit - which will be of interest to anyone who would like to develop for 8 bit systems (My games are open source), or is just interested in knowing the challenges and decisions that are involved in 8 bit development!
I'll always do my best to answer patreon's questions, take on board their feedback with the game development, and add new tutorials to meet patreons interests.
