Channel throttled by YouTube

Hi folks, a quick announcement: I managed to do a livestream yesterday, which means I figured out how to work the new system, at least for solo streams. If you listen to the stream I couldn't get my guests to join me, which I'll work out in the future. BUT: that means I can finally start doing patron-only streams again soon, so watch for an announcement soon about when that'll be. It'll be available to supporters on Patreon, Subscribestar, those who have done so through the direct mail, and recently for those who clicked the 'join' button on YouTube.



Which brings me to this: during the stream numerous viewers commented that they hadn't seen a video from me in a month and a half, which corresponds perfectly to when my view count, subscriber growth, and ad revenue all started dropping quickly. At some point my channel was quietly suppressed by YouTube with no notice given. It's still monetized, at least for the time being, which brings me to this question: have you been getting notifications about my videos being available? Finally, in addition to being on Anchor.fm, you can find audio-only versions on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and most major podcasting platforms made possible through the nice folks at Anchor, who do provide some ad revenue as well, so that is a good back up.
