Thanks for reading my blog and watching my vlog!

I launched this project as a means to manifest my creativity and passion for filmmaking (not to mention my desire for a healthier and sustainable lifestyle) into reality. I will create videos (mainly for YouTube) to document my journey as I switch to a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle while learning new crafts at the same time.

My goal is simple: to live a more sustainable and peaceful life off the grid where I eat mostly what I plant; where all the electricity I need is powered by the sun; where I minimize my need for commercially distributed water by supplementing it with rainwater and groundwater; where waste is either properly recycled or disposed; where space is used more efficiently; the list goes on.

I hope this more sustainable approach to life weans me bit by bit from my currently heavy reliance on society in general. This more efficient and low-cost lifestyle should be able to provide me with more artistic and financial freedom. I am sure that this freedom will allow me to pursue new (or even simply allow me to keep doing my old) hobbies and skills that I am really passionate about. Like traveling in a more luxurious manner than I had been used to in the past.

Honestly, I’m no expert filmmaker! I am a mere beginner in these life-changing pursuits that I intend to accomplish. This entire project serves as a testimony of what I learn from day to day. “Life is a journey, not a destination.” This is one of my favorite quotes from Ralph Waldo Emerson.
