Hi there Buttercups! I will share later - why I call you Buttercups! For now; just trust me on that! Potassium is a mineral that actually 'protects' the kidneys - this is because: if there is excess fluid retention in the body, and the body can't release the water - it is hard on the kidneys! And - potassium helps the body to remove excess fluid!  Please take your time in learning how to use minerals. I always begin with a small quantity - and then, work up in dose. It is better to go that route! Even good, natural herbs and vitamins need to be used with caution! I try and take that 'guess work' out of it for you! I use products, and then give you my experience! I'm a Cosmetologist, and I'm interested in staying healthy through natural means, so I don't offer health advice! I'll just share what I do for myself and my family! See my video (below) or - on this page in my Website magazine! ~~~Nancy
