Donated on subscribe star before I even finished the video. That kind of censorship is unacceptable in a free society and I will no longer be using patreon.

SUPER happy to be able to support TGC on SubcribeStar. I had to leave Patreon b/c of exactly what ended up happening with TGC and it made me feel bad that I couldn't support you guys.

My parting message to Patreon. Keep up the good work Jon. As a consumer, I am sick and tired of better-than-thou companies forcing their “morality” on everyone and everything they come in contact with. Limits on one side of an argument result not in discussion but in a pontification by the “morally-superior.” This tactic of suppression of free-speech has been used by bullies throughout history: Stallin, Hitler, Mao, the North Korean Kims, Facebook, YouTube, and our current favorite, Patreon. You can call it a terms of service contract but what it is truly is a gag order. As long as some thing or idea is legal what’s the harm in allowing the discussion to continue. So, if you, as a company, can’t support free-speech I will do my best to not support you. As the programs I support find alternatives for processing contributions I will be switching and will not be supporting any new Patreon clients. Remember racism was once the norm and if Patreon were around back then I believe you would have supported the popular belief that one race was superior to another and had Dr. King been on Patreon you would likely have tried to silence him with absurd Terms of Service like perhaps a No Peaceful Protest organizing clause. They failed to stop Dr. King in the past and I’m willing to bet You won’t stop messages of freedom such as those from The Gun Collective from spreading no matter how much of a Secondofobe you happen to be.
