I've heard about two other channels that had videos taken down at the same time mine were. Backyardscience2000 told me that Full Modern Alchemist had his most popular video which covered the prep of methylamine nuked at the same time my videos were being taken down. Corrosive Chemistry told me that his video of making trimethylbismuth (which sounds epic as fuck!) was taken down around the same time. He thinks it's because PhMgBr was somewhere in the title. No idea why phenyl magnesium bromide would be used to make trimethylbismuth but maybe it was something related to a previous video or an upcoming project. In any case if he is right then we are at a point where YouTube has a problem with Grignard reagents! I'm the only person I know of who had 7 videos nuked though. So the day has arrived when YouTube is going to start fucking with the chemistry channels for making good content. I am certain this will not be the last of it. I think YouTube has learned to spread shit like that out so people don't revolt and leave the platform.
