This particular longpaint is a special one, as it covers a rather somber subject. Despite that, I do feel good making the piece overall because it allowed me to do something I don’t normally do and tackle an actual “painting” piece. No line work, just the technique of painting.

Granted, it’s digital, but I decided to fudge it a bit and add that canvas texture to it to give it more authenticity and make it look like the portrait painted in the short film.
