A quick defense of Ravi Zacharias...
It kills me inside to know of Ravi's actions. Horrible stuff and his family's name will forever be tarnished. He did abuse people and, almost certainly, misappropriated money too. Bad stuff.
BUTTTT, with that said, at least for me, Ravi helped guide me to a closer relationship with Jesus. Do you think Ravi's misdeeds loosen that relationship??? Not in the least. In fact, it STRENGTHENS it! Why? Because I know if Satan can get to Ravi, he can certainly get to me and as such I need to be on even more vigilant guard against his promises. You too.
Unfortunately, Ravi's actions may have driven some people away from Christ, especially those he abused. I hope not. Those are the wages of sin to which Ravi is being held accountable.
