And now for the longdraw of Mayor Noodle! Long may she reign!

This actually isn’t the first time I’ve drawn Noodle. I did it once for a drawthread back in ye olde 4chan days, but the biggest challenge for me in this was getting her face down. Even now I still don’t think I nailed it.

The thing about the Gorillaz artwork is that it’s strikingly unique and recognizable on sight, so it’s paramount to get it just right. I really tried my best to draw Noodle’s face as on-model as possible because any error in this venture would render her looking “Un-Noodle-like”. I think the most important feature on that was probably the nose. She has a very distinct nose.
