Ah, the one and only Swedish Murder Machine: Brock Fuckin’ Samson.

This particular pic was easier than normal in some aspects and harder in others. Here’s a little trade secret: Any time you see me make pics of characters where I zoom in on their upper bodies or just their faces, I do that on purpose because it’s easier to compose the overall piece.

I don’t have to fuck around with backgrounds or crazy perspectives or elaborate poses or any of that fancy art shit. Just facial expressions and staying relatively close to on-model.

That being said, this drawing was a bit difficult because drawing Brock’s left hand at that angle gave me a bit of a hard time. Hands and feet are always particularly difficult to draw in general because they’re such intricate parts of the human anatomy that everybody is intimately familiar with, so fucking them up is very noticable, even to people who aren’t artists.
