Our Next Two Live Streams: Current Events (Friday, May 31), Math Tutoring Session (Saturday, June 1)

Hi everyone, here are the next two scheduled live streams:

1) Open Discussion on Current Events: News, Politics, Economics, Investing and more [ASMR]

Friday, May 31, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM PDT

Let’s take a look at the world and try to understand the games at play. Open discussion, come with questions. We'll try our best to figure out what's going on and how we can prepare for the changes taking place.

2) Drop in Math Tutoring Session #30: Let's Do Some Math, Open Discussion [ASMR]

Saturday, June 1, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM PDT

This stream, as before, will be an open discussion on high-school math. A tutoring session where you can come with your questions, things you need help with, and we'll see what we can do to clear things up.

For this session, however, we will start this stream with a problem that was presented to us by a regular attendee to these streams. Gentle Chaos LDR put out the following video which he linked in our Math Discord Channel: "The Spiral Travel Problem" https://youtu.be/svTTrzo_odM

Math Discord Page link here, the conversation for this topic begins on May 25, 2019: https://discordapp.com/channels/427971617042464768/435231278158053386

A quick search provided the following information available online:

Code to Generate the Spiral: https://jsfiddle.net/issackelly/r679xfrk/12/

We'll present this problem at the beginning of the stream and see where it takes us.
