I couldn't figure if he went there or only close regarding insurance decoupled from jobs. We need individual insurance that's portable & competitive across state lines. The cobra helped but if you lose your job due to bad health, you'll not get another job before the Cobra time expires, if ever. Then you involuntarily become the "uninsuref".
