Julius Evola's Pagan Imperialism: an Introduction

The beginning of a discussion of a strange little book by Evola, who is significant in the history of western Buddhism because 1) he wrote The Doctrine of Awakening, a book explaining and praising Theravada Buddhism and 2) the renowned English monk ven. Nyanavira converted to Buddhism and was inspired to ordain as a bhikkhu after reading it. Evola also happens to have been a rather extreme fascist; although fascism, unlike Marxism, has had considerable respect for spirituality.
