"Left Behind"

This animation is an analogy about how I’ve often thought of religion. What once may have helped us, is now a detriment. I’ve also thought of it like never removing a cast after breaking a bone. Since religion has been fairly ubiquitous, maybe it once had some evolutionary benefit, probably rooted in tribalism, safety in numbers. I see that as doing more harm than good in modernity though, a vestigial organ like an appendix, waiting to burst. We no longer have to team up to keep predators at bay, so now we team up against each other. What once united now divides.

I hope you don’t mind that I’ve done the credits differently this time. Because the actual animation is only around 3 minutes, I didn’t want to make a quarter of the video credits with the scrolling method.
