Here is a quick resource for those of you who want to fill out your own eForm 1 for a "Silencer"

---Slides are numbered because I can't arrange them with the SS interface---

I am not sure why everything popped up so small but you will have to click on the small photos above the main photo to see all of the steps. Once you get this down it takes about 5minutes till fill out a complete form, very easy to do.

Slide 1 - Filed as an individual, so if you want to do so as a trust or corporation yours will be different

Slide 2 - If you are an individual, select " tax paid ($200)

Slide 3 - Click no FFL (unless you have one). Title can be "owner" or anything else you want, the simpler the better.

Slide 4 - Fill out the required info. Tip, select your entire middle name in the drop down tab instead of just the initial to reduce the chance you get mixed up with someone else. Also, you will need to upload a passport style photo in the "photo section" (must be recent).

Slide 5 - A UPIN would help with misidentifications and delays.

Slide 6 - Find your Cleo, will either be your head county officer or if you live within city limits it will be your head city cop. this is where you will drop off a CLEO copy of your form 1 that the ATF will send you or you can print off.

Slide 7 - You will need to add a line item (I have already done so in this image).

Slide 8 - Select "By manufacture Code" and use the code "FMI" for a form 1 registration.

Slide 9 - Select "silencer" then wait for the website to load and you need to select "My item not in description" (Because you are creating one). select your caliber (doesn't really matter, but .30 cal is safe). Overall length is important, it does not have to be that length, but it cannot be longer. shorter = ok, longer = prison & dead dogs. All lawful purposes...

Slide 10 - You can add info I.E. prints, photos, etc. it's not required though so I didn't.

Slide 11 - Upload another ID photograph, can be the same as before as you are both the "responsible persons" and the "Owner". The ATF will send you a physical copy of your cover letter as well as upload one here. you will need to send 2 copies of your fingerprints on the required forms as well as the cover letter to the address on the cover letter within 10 days. I don't know what happens if you miss that 10 day window.

Slide 12 - Sign and pay to get your rights back...

Everything is very simple and hard to mess up. Mine got put into a delay which can randomly happen for a variety of reasons, so I have up to 6 months left of waiting for them to give me the OK. With luck these should take 2-4 weeks and about $230 (including fingerprints) and you get to then make your own silencer legally. let me know if you have any questions!
