I went shopping with my wife today. All went well until we got to Costco. The people at the door said masks were required, to which I replied that as 20 years as a San Francisco Fire Captain and heavy exposure to smoke and chemicals, I had developed emphysema and asbestosis. They were very nice and waived me in. I was wearing a fire department tee-shirt, which easily identified me. A few sneers here and there, but one nosey prick just had to ask me, “WHERE’S YOUR MASK?” I told him, “ It’s in my trunk with my 45 cal. pistol. what you can do is say you cannot wear a mask because of a medical condition. If the person says what is the medical condition, You say that is a breach of my medical privacy under HIPAA. If the person says then you cannot go in you say... what is your name. I am making a formal complaint against you for discrimination and violating my HIPAA privacy.
