The unusual way those who have died communicate with the living.

Those who have died communicate with us in a very unusual way.

To understand this, we have to know that in the spiritual worlds, things are very, very different from how they are here in the physical.

You could almost say they are upside-down and inside-out compared to the physical world of time and space which we inhabit.

One way the spiritual worlds is completely different from the physical is the way in which communication happens.

Let’s imagine a regular conversation taking place between you and I in the physical world:I am standing here and you are over there and I speak using my speech organs. The sounds vibrate the air and your ears pick up the sounds. We have a conversation.

In the spiritual world when another being (such as our loved one) speaks, we actually hear their “words” from within ourselves. Their communication comes, as it were, from us.

And when we speak to them, it’s as if what we are saying comes from them. Our own questions or answers which we give to them....seem to come from them.
You may have experienced something similar to this if you've ever dreamed of your loved one.

The connection between us and our loved ones who have died is so intimate, so close that we tend to miss it. They are closer than close.

We need to become more and more attuned to ourselves and our own inner live to be able to discern: “did this thought, mental image or idea that I’m experiencing right now come from me, or from somewhere else?

One of the reasons that we don’t “hear” what our loved one (or another spiritual being) is “saying” to us is that we’ve not learned to become inwardly quiet enough to notice the subtle difference between our own thoughts…and those which are inspired from the spiritual world.

The modern world makes this inner quietude very difficult.

Developing this takes practice and commitment. But it is possible.

But the first step is to understand just how different spiritual communication is from the way it works in the physical world.

Contemplating these ideas can be a way to begin to understand these things.
