It amounts to an almost unbelievable level of arrogance in regards to the masses that a coterie of corporations pretend at ruling over.

However this technology ultimately develops, it feels like an affront to consciousness, and towards the fulfillment of Aldous Huxley's depiction of Hypnopedia / Sleep Learning in Brave New World, or Pink Floyd's Welcome to the machine ("we told you what to dream").

At the end of the day, it's seems another creepy front that is over the line of human decency. Into a dimension that they just shouldn't venture into.

It brings to mind certain aspects our documentary 'The Minds of Men.' Crazy amounts of progress have been made -- not in comprehending the great mystery of the mind and its meaning for our existence, but in hacking brain processes for the benefit of those that would manage and control us. Unsettling, but unfortunately a major part of our modern reality.
