Paid Collections

General statements

1. Only content creators with approved profiles can create Paid Collections on SubscribeStar.
2. Currently, only digital materials published on the SubscribeStar platform can be sold through Paid Collections; tangible goods are not allowed.
3. Collections with a set price can only include paid posts, meaning posts that belong to paid subscription tiers.
4. Only Collections with at least one post will be listed for sale; empty Collections will not be listed until they contain at least one post.
5. When a non-free post is added to a Paid Collection, all users currently subscribed to the corresponding tier will retain access to the post, regardless of whether they purchased the Collection.
6. Paid Collections will be introduced gradually, starting with Stars who have a spotless transaction history.

We reserve the right to disable the Paid Collections feature for an individual Star or the entire platform at our sole discretion.

Pricing, fees, and taxes

Listing products is free, and fees are only charged when a Collection is actually sold. These fees can be split between the Star and Buyer according to the settings chosen by the Collection's owner.

Each sold Paid Collection will incur the following charges:

Charged to Stars

The following fees and taxes are applied to successfully processed sales:

1. A platform-wide Service Fee of 5%.
2. Processing Fees of 2.9% + $0.3 on average.
3. Sales Tax that is applied to transaction fees, where legally required, varying by jurisdiction.

Charged to Buyers

The following fees and taxes are applied to successfully processed payments:

1. Payer Transaction fee, which includes currency conversion fees for non-US buyers.
2. Sales Tax that is applied to transaction fees, where legally required, varying by jurisdiction.

 The fees above are subject to change based on related process changes.
