the Goal
We are a group of hobbyists that self-fund the kits we like that the large, plastic-injection companies don't or won''t do. We use resin which is much less expensive, quicker to produce, and more friendly to the environment. When we get enough paid reservations, this covers the sculpting, casting, resin, packing and posting! We have 10 kits on the market of the highest quality and are now preparing 10 more. Our subjects so far are the most unique, unknown and rare aircraft from history. These are not "paper projects" but aircraft that hare reached the mock-up, pre-production and prototype stages. Each one has a history on our website: https://www.internationalresinmodellers.com, an article on how to build it (in addition to directions in the box), and examples for painting and decal placement. For a typical kit we need financing of about $2,000 - $5,000 accumulated from those interested. Prices range from $55 for a single engine to $295 for a four engine kit in 1/72. We have focused on aviation subjects, but are open to other areas as well. Ten percent of all proceeds will go to charitable organizations to help those in need such as The Good Samaritan, the Salvation Army, the 92nd Young Men's (and Women's) Hebrew Association, etc. So please consider joining our group and subscribing to the kits of interest. Let's keep our hobby going and growing!
