This was originally going to be a subscriber-exclusive post with a short video clip, but this site doesn't accept the format directly from my camera. So, here's a picture of what I did today. In addition to cutting these pieces to size and removing the corner notches, I cut the corners off the ground-contact boards that will act as diagonal supports, and drilled all of the pilot holes for the screws. I would have gotten farther, but it started to rain. Tomorrow, I will paint everything, and then assembly will begin after that (probably next day).
