New metal arms will begin appearing in the shop soon as I finish off the last of the old style arms.  I have selected several designs to begin moving over to the new arms including the 2 piece mini v, The red stretch v1, v3 and v4.  I hope you will check them out.

I will be phasing out my old arms that attached to the front of the lens for arms that are more hidden behind the lens.  I will be starting with the two piece v and slowly updating lenses for other designs as well.  I will also be adding more options for the budget 3d printed arms soon.

These are the new budget mini v glasses. When you purchase a pair of these glasses you will receive the lens and the arms assembled.  This line starts at $20.00 with arms. If there is enough interest I may offer lenses without arms at an additional discount in the future. Once you own a pair of glasses with these arms you would be able to purchase a cheaper lens only version of the glasses and attach the arms you already own.  

3D printed arms for larger V glasses seem to be doing well.  Unfortunately I do not receive much feedback on changes like this.  I will be introducing new simple interchangeable arms in multiple colors.  These new arms will continue my efforts to offer a cheaper budget version of many of my glasses.   More soon.  

Here is one of my earliest custom lenses the "red stretch".  These lenses were later modified to fit a proper set of hardware and are now known as the V1 in my shop.  The arms used in this picture were removed from an existing product made by Elope's DR. Peepers brand glasses.  The arms were from their fu man chu design.  The lenses on those were round so as you can see the fit is awkward on the more oval shape where they attach to these lenses.  An attempt was made to make them wearable despite the weird fit.  This was the first custom design request I received on etsy almost eight years ago.  For those familiar with a certain fandom they will remember this pair of glasses was only the beginning.
