September Status
Well, Jungles of Alabama is now finished. Posting weekly updates has been a bit of a struggle at times, and I haven't always made the deadline, but overall I've gotten a lot more writing done with the extra pressure than I did without it. So I'm going to do the same thing with the next volume.
Right now my plan is to take a short break to recharge and do some outlining, and then start working on the sequel to Jungles of Alabama. I'm also going to change my posting day to Saturday, because it looks like the scheduling will work better for me. So the first chapter of The Siege of Scottsbow will be posted on October 8th, and the plan will be to continue weekly posts until I finish the book.
For those who have been patiently waiting on another Daniel Black book, I'm also working on plotting out the rest of that series in between writing chapters. I don't want to start writing that series again until I've figured out how Daniel is going to deal with the whole tangled mess of divine problems that are currently on his plate, because I'd inevitably get twenty chapters in and realize I needed to do major rewrites. But the plotting is going well, so the plan now is to take up the next Daniel Black book once I finish Siege of Scottsbow.
