We've made photos in a rush. Just to tryout the new equipment of an Feudal/Elite Bulgarian soldier from 1390-1400 A.D.
Only the chainmail we did not use. But we will make  better photos in the wild very soon.

We got a new acquisition - Aketon or gambezon. A type of textile armor inspired by one of the many gambesons/acetonia depicted in the "Crusader Bible".
The textile armor itself (acetone, gambeson) is made of 4 layers of cotton and linen. Thickness about 5-6mm. Dense and strong textile armor, which has been used since the 12th century. to the 14th century from infantry and common soldiers.
Length 97 cm, chest circumference 110 cm, sleeve length 57 cm.
This textile armor will be used in my reconstruction of a Knight Crusader of the Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem.

After several modifications the bascinet (for now) is ready. I hope it will not be needed more modifications, and long time no need to repair it.
Here i want to say that aventail is all my work. I cut off the aventail and made it shorter so i can fill the gab between the rings and the throat. So now reaches and covers the chin how it should be. Yes i mixed revited and butted because i can not riveting the rings.
Also i add a leather to the sides so it can "lock" the visor.
And yes its not perfect, but there's nothing more satisfied to "craft" something with your own hands! :)
