Toxic leadership is enabled from above via ignorance (until it is clearly pointed out to those above that someone above me in rank but lower than them at the top in rank has a rank odor (haha... pun intended). Okay, I am prior Chair Force and did my time in the wastelands of the Middle East (several too many times than I should have to all because for those in the rotation just found ways not to have to participate in their job in some place other their home base)... oh it is what it was and still probably is. That being all of that (and more that I will not take the time to say here) even outside of the military there is also toxic non-leadership and they do need to be called out even if it means I had to loose my job for doing so. Yes, going to war is just something a warrior does without being in a national war... it is a way of life.
