TGC made a video about leaving Patreon and migrating to SubscribeStar. They made it out to be a Patreon only problem when in reality the bigger problem are the banks and Obama era policies designed to crush companies who sell, or promote the sale of firearms, ammunition and accessories. It’s why so many gun companies can’t get credit card processing for their businesses or lose their business accounts. We’ve dealt with this for years with Copper Custom. It’s never ending.

Patreon is dealing with the same thing. For a coupe of years Patreon looked the other way as creators ignored the rules of not selling guns and gear, giving away guns and gear, offering discount codes for guns and gear, etc. We did it too with discounts for stuff sold through Copper Custom and BigDaddyUnlimited. Patreon came to me and let me know that they were going to have to enforce the rules because of pressure from their credit card processor. I wish I could say I was shocked, but I knew it was coming.

I created a SubscribeStar account a while ago because I knew Patreon has rules against the sale of firearms, doing gun giveaways, etc. Not a month into my new account here and SubscribStar lost their credit card processor for the reasons above. They didn’t process cards for 2 months which was crushing for those creators that only used SubscribeStar. They eventually found another processor, but thanks to anti-gun banks and Obama era policies I suspect it’s only a matter of time before we lose our processing here again. At some point that may force SubscribeStar to make changes to their rules.

It’s the world we live in. It’s a constant battle for our very existence. I applaud SubscribeStar for their continued commitment and I hope it works out for them (and us). Meanwhile, we’ll keep both Patreon and SubscribeStar.

Going forward we will pre-release new videos for our SubscribeStar supporters. Also, for our $10 and above SubscribeStar supporters I will be posting our BigDaddyUnlimited 1/2 off membership link tonight.

Thank you for the continued support!
